Welcome to my page! I’m LA, owner and creator of LaLa’s Natural Living, and a SAHM who fell in love with making homemade sourdough and soaps for my family. 

When I started paying attention to the ingredient lists on our food and products, I didn’t like what I saw and knew we could do better. I had no idea when I started my sourdough journey how much I would dive into it, and it snowballed into a steady supply of boules for others who loved homemade, authentic sourdough but had no time or patience to mind a starter themselves. My sourdough starter, Leonardough, was started in December 2023 right in my kitchen and has been growing ever since. He is fed with filtered well water and unbleached all purpose flour. 

My soap making journey started similarly. I was unhappy with the ingredients in the soaps we used to have and wanted something without toxins and chemicals. After some research and a lot of help from The Natural Soap Making Book for Beginners by Kelly Cable, I started a trial-and-error process of different methods and recipes for making soap. I purchased the equipment and ingredients, gave it a whirl, and am always continuously improving my processes. Not only do I love the creative outlet, but I love knowing every ingredient used in my soaps. All of my scents are created with essential oils and natural infusions and any pigments added are from natural sources. 

I do offer domestic shipping for all available bar soaps, but strictly do not ship any sourdough products to maintain quality.
